On May 3, 2019, I took a trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to see what was springing in spring. While I came away with a number of spring-themed pictures, the picture that ended up becoming my phone background was of a very dry, molding brown leaf floating in the crystal-clear waters of the BBG's Rock Garden. Go figure.
