#Bouguereau was not as obsessed with sex as some of his contemporaries thought he was, but neither was he a prude, and he was not above an occasional visual double entendre. The title of this painting may also be the first use of the word #thirst in the 21st-century metaphorical sense — as in "thirst trap".

I was pretty entertained to discover that somebody went and used Photoshop to update and modernize (whilst leaving unchanged the essence of) a hairy old... Tagged: sex blogging, Christmas, femdom, nymphs and satyr, santa, santa claus, stripped, stripping, William-Adolphe Bouguereau
@SpankingBlog Eroticism?!? In a Bouguereau painting? Could such a thing be possible? Nay, nay!
