One #monal user came today: "Your chat went crazy!"
He showed me his iphone: the screen was flickering.
I checked prosody logs. Nothing.
I looked at the screen again and got what happened.
A day ago I sent three links to that user. Monal tried to get a preview but the site kicked back with antibot protection.
Instead of displaying something sane Monal seemed to retry without any delay that caused flickering.

Never been a fan of shell scripts but suddenly I realized that's #bash I did not like.
I'm curious if #windows 1.0 was smaller or not?
Anyway, bash scripts look like a puke to me. But dash, the plain shell... Yes, the plain lean /bin/sh is amazing!
Especially since someone implemented pipefail. Not so long ago, by the way, just in 2020s.
Bash is amazing as an interactive shell. If not bash, I would still use ugly mc. But for scripting bash vs sh is like C++ vs C. Mostly unnecessary.
One remaining thing for today is replace gnudip.

Implementing RFC 2136 seems to be beyond their abilities so they dug this gnudip somehow and added to DynDNS options on some of their modern routers.
I found its source code on #sourceforge (yes, sourceforge! Remember that?), rewrote in Go, and happily used it for six months.
But now I have to say goodbye, gnudip. And not all routers support it, unfortunately.

It's been a long time I participated in #exhibitions. A few years, actually. Today, a local gallerist called me and invited to participate again. Well, I was pleased, but we never were close enough, the gallery never followed me on the Instagram, and this call is a sure sign they are dying. They are in despair and I'm very sorry to realize that. Really. #Art never been easy.
But I seem to be dead already and have no decent #artwork to exhibit, only old crap.
So, #fedi, what should I do?
