After three years of collaboration with 22 partners, the #BioDT project has wrapped up!
The project advanced biodiversity digital twins and ecological modelling, 🌍🧬with the Secretariat and #GBIFNorway supporting the development of prototype digital twins, new biodiversity data standards, advances in eDNA integration and ecological monitoring and greater interoperability of data between data infrastructures.

The session on #DigitalTwins of Biodiversity at #wbf2024 started with a great introduction by Nikoletta Nikolova. I was 1/10 second too late to picture her summary slide 🙃.
And because biodiversity is different, real-time data flow and recallibration is completely different to industry.
