#Knitting #WIPs: The Queen Anne's Lace Shawl is off the needles!
It is slightly larger than the pattern called for, before washing and blocking. I will not be blocking tightly, to avoid over-stretching it, but the stitch pattern is coming out already.
Over-all I am pleased so far. I will hand-wash and towel dry, then see if it will fit on my foam pads, though I have some doubts already.
I'm about to tubular bind off a sock (x-mas stocking) and I constantly come back to this video. It's a hidden gem with under 100k views in 7 yrs old.
If you're tackling tubular bind off for the first time, I highly highly recommend Stitches n Scraps.
Very pleased with this bind off on this sock. 1-1 rubbing cuff, fold the cuff down and picked every knit stitch to bind off together as I do a stretchy bind off. Rest of sock is a yarn scraps sock switching between yellow and various small balls of a variegated yarns.

[the pictures show a big shawls in grey and purple pattern - a big amount of stitches are still on the needles, and therefor ruffly, but quite a bit of the border of the shawl is lying there on it's own, beeing already bound off]
