@ascentale @MartyCormack @bikenite A6: I have more been a danger or harassment to the wild critters than them to me. Even though I live in the desert and occasionally see snakes while biking, or javelinas. One time long ago in the Netherlands a small bird flew into my wheel and hit the spokes, I don't know if it survived. I've had to try hard not to run over toads after a rain. Dogs are a different story. #BikeNiteQ #BikeNite
@ascentale @realSiegfried @bikenite A3: Yes, there are ghost bikes (painted white at the site of an accident) in Tucson, Arizona, US. I've also seen people carrying a cardboard cut-out of a ghost bike at our annual All Souls Procession in memory of a biker who was killed. #BikeNiteQ #BikeNite

I saw a couple of cyclists riding on a traffic-heavy road with no shoulder, correctly riding with the flow of traffic. But there was a separated bike path on the opposite side of the road that seemed much safer.

The work I was doing in UC Access Now could have benefited if I'd had access to education/mentoring in what established cycle advocates have already done successfully? (Adjust Q for your country...)
