Il No davanti al Sì a prescindere dall’affluenza. L’ultimo sondaggio di YouTrend sul referendum del 22 e 23 marzo fotografa un sorpasso consolidato dei contrari alla riforma Nordio, che ormai prevalgono su favorevoli in tutte le ipotesi di partecipazione al voto. L’ultima rilevazione dell’istituto per SkyTg24, pubblicata venerdì 6 marzo, considera come al solito due scenari: uno di “affluenza bassa” al 47,5%, che comprende solo chi ha dichiarato di voler andare a votare “sicuramente“, l’altro di “affluenza alta” al 57,3%, includendo anche chi lo farà “probabilmente“. Nel primo scenario il No consolida il vantaggio già acquisito da settimane: è stimato al 54,1%, un punto pieno in più rispetto al sondaggio precedente, datato 27 febbraio. Ma la novità è il sorpasso nell’ipotesi di alta affluenza: per la prima volta, anche in questo caso il No supera il Sì con il 51,4% contro il 48,6%, mentre la settimana scorsa i due fronti erano dati esattamente alla pari.
I risultati mostrano che la scelta è sostanzialmente politica: tra gli elettori di centrodestra oltre il 93% voterebbe Sì, mentre il 93% di chi vota i partiti del “campo largo” si schiera per il No. L’orientamento per Sì sale al 98% tra gli elettori di Fratelli d’Italia, mentre è tra l’81% e l’83% tra quelli di Lega e Forza Italia (il partito, quest’ultimo, che storicamente fa della riforma un totem). Tra gli elettori centristi circa sette su dieci voterebbero No, ma con differenze marcate fra i sostenitori di Azione di Carlo Calenda, più orientati al Sì, e quelli di Italia viva e +Europa. Sul piano demografico, il No spopola tra i giovani tra i 18 e i 34 anni (60% con alta affluenza, 62% con bassa affluenza), ma ora risulta leggermente in vantaggio (52%) anche tra gli over 55. L’affluenza potenziale è molto più alta al Nord che al Sud: 66% contro 47% nello scenario alto.

Referendum: the latest YouTrend poll: No ahead of Yes, even with high turnout.
No prevails over Yes regardless of turnout. The latest YouTrend survey on the March 22nd and 23rd referendum photographs a consolidated lead of opponents to the Nordio reform, which now outweighs supporters in all participation scenarios. The institute’s latest poll for SkyTg24, published on Friday, March 6th, considers as usual two scenarios: one of “low turnout” at 47.5%, which includes only those who have declared they “definitely” want to vote, and the other of “high turnout” at 57.3%, including those who will do so “probably.” In the first scenario, No consolidates the advantage already gained in weeks: it is estimated at 54.1%, one full point higher than the previous survey, dated February 27th. But the novelty is the lead in the high turnout scenario: for the first time, even in this case, No surpasses Yes with 51.4% versus 48.6%, while last week the two fronts were exactly equal.
The results show that the choice is essentially political: among voters for the center-right, over 93% would vote Yes, while 93% of those voting for the “broad front” parties would align with No. Support for Yes rises to 98% among voters for Fratelli d’Italia, while it is between 81% and 83% among those for Lega and Forza Italia (the latter party, historically, makes the reform a totem). Among center-leaning voters, approximately seven out of ten would vote No, but with marked differences between supporters of Carlo Calenda’s Azione, more oriented towards Yes, and those of Italia viva and +Europa. Demographically, No dominates among young people aged 18 to 34 (60% with high turnout, 62% with low turnout), but now it slightly leads (52%) even among those over 55. Turnout potential is much higher in the North than in the South: 66% versus 47% in the high turnout scenario.
