This is horrific. If this tenant gets on public transportation or goes to doctors offices or stores they can spread these bugs.
Years ago I moved into a little cabin in Chocorua NH that had bedbugs. I would wake up with huge welts in areas of my body that weren’t covered by pajamas and I thought they were spider bites because I would see spiders everywhere. I had no idea until I went to see my Doctor who immediately knew what they were.
(Apparently they bite in a pretty straight line of 3 bites-the doctor called it “breakfast, lunch, and dinner”.)
This was 10 years ago and I’m still kind of traumatized by it. I suppose the bright side is that if I was anywhere with bedbugs I would know instantly because of the welts that I get if they bite me.
I immediately moved out, I washed and dried everything that I could. Some of my clothes got destroyed in the dryer and I didn’t even care. The rest of my stuff sat in my car for a week baking in the summer sun. My TV got destroyed but it was better than bringing bugs into my mom’s, who was kind enough to let me escape to her place.

Oh my God this is horrendous. An eleven year old girl was killed when her neighbour tried to treat a #bedbug infestation with illegally imported poison gas. Yes this was a terrible and negligent decision but I can't help feeling part of the blame lies with the landlord for providing poor housing conditions and failing to treat the infestation.
60% - 80% of the population have some sort of parasitic infection and they don’t realize they have one. So many symptoms are related to parasitic infection, and oftentimes you go to your physician and complain about a symptom you end up with a medication. They don’t put it together and say ‘huh this could be a parasitic infection’.
Symptoms related to parasitic infection:
Vomitting Diarrhea Nausea Change in your bowel movements (a sudden change, all of a sudden you constipated, loose stool, diarrhea)
unexplained fatigue or malaise, constantly tired no matter what you do, got 10 hours of sleep and still tired.
Sleep disturbances.(Toss and turn, wake up 2 in the morning and can’t go back to bed, this could be a blood sugar problem but also could be a parasitic infection)
Itchy skin, rectum, pinworms are notorious for itchiness around the rectum. unexplained itchy skin is very common with parasitic infections.
