Brookline Rally for No Kings Day · Mobilize

On March 28, as Brookline’s contribution to the nation-wide No Kings Day events, we will rally at Coolidge Corner from 1-2:30 pm! Join our three groups, Brookline PAX, Activist Evenings, and Speak Out, Seniors! as we mark this important event at our weekly Saturday rally. Please bring signs, flags, noisemakers, your love of democracy, and your spirit of resistance! No Kings Day began in 2025 as a single day of defiance and has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. This peaceful movement is bigger than ever. When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Director John Carpenter broke frozen ground with this milestone in special effects and gore, setting the bar for many horror remakes to come.

Brookline Rally for Democracy, February 2026 · Speak Out, Seniors!

Brookline Rally for Democracy Every Saturday at 1:00 PM | Coolidge Corner Join members of three Brookline pro-democracy groups — indivisible Activist Evenings, Brookline Pax, and Speak Out, Seniors! — for our weekly rally at Coolidge Corner. We gather to raise our voices and our signs in defense of democracy, justice, and decency — and to stand united against the abuses of the Trump administration and the forces that threaten our rights and freedoms. We stand for: • Immigrant rights, human rights, and racial justice • Free speech, the Constitution, and the rule of law • Access to health and healthcare for all • Protection of our planet and the future we leave to the next generation We choose empathy over cruelty, peace over violence, and hope over fear. Our rallies are peaceful, spirited, and uplifting — a chance to connect, recharge, and stand up for what matters. Bring your friends, your voice, and your sign (or borrow one of ours!). All are welcome!  The rally is multi-generational and family-friendly; those using walkers or other mobility devices may use them to sit to participate. In the event of inclement weather, we’ll each use our best judgment about whether to attend. We hope you’ll do the same! Please join us, one rally at a time.  We’ll continue for as long as it takes.
