Dear #embedded devs,

I'm working on an embedded platform that is proprietary (#aurix #tricore) and the vendor provides a #gcc 11.3.x toolchain for Windows only.

I'm fuzzy on whether the GPL would compel them to let me build this toolchain for #linux or not.

Am I risking anything by attempting a GPL based request for the toolchain source? Is it possible to give people a build of GCC without the sources?
