On my journey to recreating the iPod experience in modern times I am using an Android smartphone as a single purpose device. No apps other than a music player and a launcher that displays only what you see. It is almost like a Zune from a different timeline. Did I mention that it plays hi-res from a 1,5 TB storage? Way cheaper than a DAP and beautiful too.
