Arvo, Toots. Some more sneaky peeks from the Artists Books Group "Look & See" Exhibition: four of the Challenge Accordion Books. Each pair of artists responded to the other's work, passing the books back and forth, creating visual conversations.

"Silence II" by Jenny Burgess and "Silence" by Elizabeth Schmidt were one pair. Jenny is known for her delicate, whimsical animals drawn on recycled teabags, & exquisite artists books. Elizabeth is one of our most experienced book artists, and is skilled in mark making, eco dyeing, & beautiful book making techniques.

"Cat and Dog" and "Koi Fish" were made by Christina Brosnan & Caitlin O'Connor. Christina is a skilled multimedia artist, known for her skills in gelliplate printing and her beautiful drawings and books, as well as her textile arts. Caitlin O'Connor is a mixed media artist, dabbling in everything from textiles to gelliplate printing, but is currently focused on drawing, watercolours, & artists books.
