I don't get why this guy is down on #synapse for a #Linux #applicationlauncher

Since discovering the app launchers on Linux, i'm all about it as a go-to.

E.g. when I was at my g/f place a year ago I used #icewm because of it's tiny footprint. add Synapse on top of that (as #Ulauncher doesn't work correctly on #Wayland in my experience, but i prefer #ulauncher )

i mean, just the "search" on the start menu is decent. but you're not going ot have that, e.g. #IceWM #Fluxbox #openbox etc.
