I am very fucking pissed at Apple. My Apple Watch for months has been restarting. It does it randomly but often. I tried reinstalling watchOS a few times and finally took it in. It isn’t even a year old yet!

At the Apple Store they couldn’t even run diagnostics on the watch because it kept restarting. So I was told they had to send it to the repair centre and it would likely be replaced.

I just got a notice that they couldn’t reproduce the issue, so they are sending back my device as is.

I miss the days when Apple actually cared and would replace devices or fix them when there were issues.

Foolishly thought I could look at my past apple account on windows but the dating process of passwords and codes is nothing short of ludicrous, I also live remotely so spent 20 minutes wondering around like a lunatice with my phone on the air waiting for a mf 6 digit code that made no difference #applesucks #windowssucks #outsideisgood

Breaking: consistent with the broader trend in Apple software quality, the consensus is that Apple Weather continues to suck balls.

This rant was inspired by AW telling me this morning that it's 67ºF and overcast, when five seconds outdoors tells me it's more like 73ºF and mostly sunny… which is what Weather Channel and other services are reporting.

Apple has acquired the Reverse Midas Touch® skill, where every bit of software they create, acquire, or modify turns to shit.

And... after being told by the Apple Genius that the power port was corroded and even the wireless chargeing would not work, and "the only option" was to buy a new one," it turns out charging through the iPad keyboard does charge the old iPad.

So in fact the only option was not buying a new iPad.
