I wonder... Maybe in these wacky times FOSS might be more risky than the closed source (security though obscurity) for-profit garbage?

I keep thinking about the Mythos AI model for finding security issues and how only big shots (and backdoor folks) are getting access. Look at Firefox. It's open source. They still found GOBS of stuff.

Seems to me the little guys can't (or won't) use it. But the bad guys will. How many zero-days we're sitting on?

Søndag formiddag, fri morgendans i godt selskab - det plejer at være et af ugens højdepunkter.

I dag sidder jeg bare udenfor, fordi jeg kan ikke slukke for hjernen og bare danse, når hele dagens playliste er inficeret af AI-shit.

For mig er det så nemt at fornemme at musikken er uægte, men åbenbart er det ikke alle der kan? Så checker jeg om jeg kan finde sangen, “kunstneren”, hvornår og hvor meget musik har de udgivet, findes de andetsteds online? Og bingo, mere til #AIshit playlisten.

I'm on a mandatory AI learning call and it is hilarious to me that Microsoft has blundered copilot so badly that folks can't tell if they have the paid version or not. The webinar chat is blowing up with confusion. Also interestingly, you can't ask copilot if you have a paid version- it doesn't know.

Seems the solution is that the paid version looks slightly different.

Heute war's mal wieder so weit: Aber das war deutlich schwerer, gescheite Fotos zu finden, als noch vor einiger Zeit, weil Pixabay mehr und mehr mit hässlichen und lieblosen #KI -Bildern vermüllt ist. Deprimierend.

Something I’ve learned in the corporate world is biz bros HAAATE when their industry is subject to “commoditization.” That’s their buzz for ‘waahhhh, our competitors are competing / any differentiation or advantage we had is gone, so we can’t overcharge anymore’

Totally bizarre how "I used AI" in every context except at work results in [deserved] scorn.

But talk about outsourcing your expertise to a stupid machine to the bosses at work and it's met with applause... From the leaders. Peers know better and are deeply skeptic.
