The last generations have no idea how much more fun the 80s were without cell phones, when anyone could ring a friend's doorbell and simply be told if he or she had time for a visit; and there was no drama if declined. Today, many folks lose their temper if some idiot blocks them online.

The internet, specially asocial networks; contains many casual comments regarding individuals being referred to as "eggs" or expressing admiration for 'feminized' men. These rants create a false sense of community, and also attract individuals who are more influenced by online trends than by a genuine understanding of their identity.
Raising concerns about this phenomenon can sometimes lead to misunderstandings.
Speaking out about how this is a problem gets you called a transphobe.

Twitter aim is the keep folks as long as possible on their empty squares filled by its user contents. Their most lucrative way to do that is to keep people engaged in endless textual conflicts. Even before Musk named it X but since he took over, this asocial network stopped respecting their own terms of service. I experienced it fist-hand when reporting profile solely dedicated to transphobia, misogyny or other forms of hatred; with only a few having arguments with me.

These profiles tweets were blatantly disrespecting X terms of service and violently hateful, yet I received a template as answer from X telling that, no, it was not hate speech nor breaching their ToS.

Sure, X won't align with their own ToS because they want people to spend time in argument; as it has been proven to keep folks longer on that platform.
