I’ve been drifting in and out of Peter Joseph’s work ever since I first saw The Zeitgeist Movement documentary, and around the same time I discovered the Venus Project and the wild‑genius ideas of Buckminster Fuller. Those visions of a resource‑based, collaborative future stuck with me, and they keep feeling as urgent today as they did back then.

@interstellar_wind I've heard about planned obsolescence since 2008 or so via #ZeitgeistMovement, from #PeterJoseph media I believe.

I would reinterpret it as this: we live in #government mandated #fiat money world, where easily inflated money reduces motivations to save, and increases to spend, i.e. motivating high time preference. But that's whole #Bitcoin rabbit hole you can dive via Fiat Standard and Bitcoin Standard books.

In Gold Standard people built building to last, as example...

@Lightrider I was a very active advocate too for the #ZeitgeistMovement and the #TheVenusProject a while back but I realized that I had to move to the practice and leave the theory for later. Great to see you around here. Interested in #blockchain capabilities to improve the world too.
