I’ve been drifting in and out of Peter Joseph’s work ever since I first saw The Zeitgeist Movement documentary, and around the same time I discovered the Venus Project and the wild‑genius ideas of Buckminster Fuller. Those visions of a resource‑based, collaborative future stuck with me, and they keep feeling as urgent today as they did back then.

About me. I work on #DigitalSovereignty, Commons and #CommunityEconomy from developing strategies for organisations to be more in line with their mission and values, to research existing free/libre software and open source solutions and communities; from internal migration of in-house solutions to networked migrations to value-aligned social networks.
Maybe to be prepared, we don't only need to have sufficient stocks and a battery powered radio, but more local communities producing whatever are our first needs. For me it connects to the #CommunityEconomy, with local energy grids in the hands of neighbours, telecommunications infrastructure that is owned and governed by your local community, food coops and community supported agriculture.
