Upgrade of my #zwave controller from 700 to 800 series was uneventful. #homeassistant +#ZWaveJS was just a matter of backing up and then restoring the NVM.
Well, I did have to go add USB ACM to my #linux kernel but that's my own fault for not using modules. 😁
Picked up an ATRIM #zwave 800 stick to try and replace my SIL 700 series one. It shipped with 7.17.2 firmware and refuses to take an upgrade in #ZWaveJS , throwing an update error after pushing the 4204D.gbl firmware file.
Any #homeassistant peeps have an idea?
Obviously, the 700 series stick upgrades just fine (running 7.21.2 on it now).
#homeassistant says "MQTT entity name starts with the device name in your config" for a lot for my #zwave devices. I have the latest zwave-js-ui #ZWaveJS installed (9.8.3). Is this something I need to be concerned about?
I see a lot about this message for zigbee, but nothing for zwave.
TubesZW??? Almost, but not quite 😎
Kits are now available with everything you need for a PoE Z-Wave adaptor, everything but the radio that is. Due to the differing global frequencies and the z-wave certification process I have no desire to make a custom radio module. Instead the kits work with most Raspberry Pi GPIO Z-Wave modules. si quelqu'un a déjà eu le prob avec #ZWaveJS UI et #domoticz je galère

@sstranger @andy_warb @zigbee @homeassistant
I haven't had speed issues with my sensors. I moved my zigbee from a huzbsb-1 to a conbee II so that I could run #zigbee2mqtt on a different HC2 than the one I run #zwavejs on. I run HA on a 3rd since I have several odroids I'm using as #moosefs chunkservers and don't need to jam them all into one machine.
A stronger mesh is always a good thing though.
