I will try better this #CAD #ZW3D that I have installed on my computer with #Linux and works pretty is a native application without wineHQ, it seems to have some good characteristics but it has been a disappointment in importing files from other CADs, all surfaces are corrupted.

Here is a comparison between #gCAD3D, an application just over 1000kb, which imports a file correctly against #ZW3D 2023 which is really bad.🤨 #CAD

#ZW3D didn't import anything but really nothing right all wrong, they just seem like they have no idea, even exporting generates corrupted files that can't be imported by other programs! 
it's like two talking to each other and not understanding each other! #CAD #3D

Anyway sorry to say but #ZW3D sucks at importing #CAD files from other programs, it doesn't import anything correctly even simple surfaces, it fails with #IGES #STEP #Parasolid.
paying $4,000 without being able to communicate with other programs is unacceptable.

However the generation of drawings is impressive only for this reason you should think about buying a similar application, if you have the need this is a point in its favor! #CAD #2D #drawing #3D #ZW3D #Linux Only 15 sec took to generate the whole assembly 2D views of many projections. that is impressive

In the end 90 days of trial it is not easy to understand Chinese, but I managed to set English, and the fact that this #CAD also works with #Linux makes it extraordinary. #ZW3D I tried to import Parasolid and STEP IGES but nothing worked.🧐 Anyway I don't know how to use it.

How cool is this ZW3D, I saw it years ago, but I didn't noticed that there is also a version for #Ubuntu for amd64 or amr64 That is an other professional #CAD for #Linux after #Varicad, #BricsCAD and #Plasticity now #zw3d
