GaN's and Roses 🌹

Under unoptimized MOCVD conditions for #GalliumNitride regrowth, interesting parasitic growth occurs on the SiO2 surface, showing hexagonal structures typical of #Wurtzite crystals.

I've been playing around last week with wurtzite structures for ZnO modeling (secret project huhu, will not tell more).

Apparently most wurtzite structure representations are *wrong* wrt. proper symmetry representations.
