#AuthorCommunity friends! I’m formatting my Mac and I have a tech question.
If I save out my Scrivener files and Vellum files and import them later as Scrivener (.scriv) and Vellum files (.vellum), they should still function when I reimport them, right?
I’m not going to get some weird error or something… right?

Modern coverage of artificial intelligence and its use in a narrative is an exercise in self-delusion. The often passive-aggressive lashing out at the inevitable is almost always an act of self-preservation—as if the acceptance of a hyper-aware and hyper-intelligent automated writing partner will somehow end up in that AI "taking my job." The collective conclusion is comfortable deniability: computers can't write stories.

You definitely are a writer, and legitimately should introduce yourself as such. You have the evidence, published books that still sell!
The lack of a current WIP doesn't equate to anyone not being a writer.
I await my debut novel to be published next year & I will introduce myself then as a writer.
Sleeping away the dark months dreaming stories and waiting for blazing sunshine does sound good however :)
