Walked all over #TablasCreek today. This is the creek itself, looking placid and bucolic. A big change from two weeks ago!
The #vineyard was still plenty wet, with springs bubbling out everywhere. I’m feeling good about where we are going into the #2023Vintage.
It’s the moments in between wet and sun that I think are the most beautiful in #California… when the storms are rolling in or clearing out, when there’s moisture in the air to delineate distance, and when the hard lines of summer are softened and subtle gradations in tone and color are revealed.
