Hiked up the #Wildspitz for the fourth time in four months. This was the easiest visit yet; maybe I’m actually getting into shape? Perfect weather for it today. The Zwetschgen (plum) pie at the Berggasthaus is lovely.

Stats: 19.65km, 862m ascent, 5h0m, 5°C 🌤️

Had a lovely hike up the Wildspitz and down to Sattel today. I spent two hours at the Berggasthaus up top enjoying the views (and coffee and soup and plum pie with whipped cream and hot tea). I made this trip almost 90 minutes faster than 8 weeks ago, partly because there was very little snow on the ascent, and partly because I was able to take a shorter, steeper descent now that the snows have melted (but I like to pretend it’s also because I’m in slightly better shape).

I left before sunrise this morning (short winter days) to hike up the Wildspitz. I spent two and a half hours relaxing in the Berggasthaus restaurant up top (the black lentil cream soup was delicious) enjoying the views before heading down the other side towards Sattel. Stats: 20.89 km, 904 m ascent, 5h55m on the trail, 4°C ⛅️. #Wildspitz #Zug #Schweiz

Hiking day with @gladi . At the beginning the sky was blue but it got more and more grey because of the Sahara dust coming in. The weather was very special today, and fucking humid.
