Pulsatilla alpina. Delicate and softly hairy, often covering wide patches of alpine meadow. I love how these flowers seem to dance, following the rhythm of the wind, letting their slender stems shake their heads gently.

Der Schnee schmilzt schnell und so sind langsam auch wieder Wanderungen in Höhere Lagen möglich. So gelangte ich gestern zur Wiwannihütte auf 2470m. Da die Hütte noch nicht geöffnet ist, war es entsprechend ruhig. Einzig ein paar Murmeltiere und eine neugierige Steingeiss habe ich dort angetroffen.

The snow is melting quickly, so it’s slowly becoming possible to hike at higher altitudes again. Yesterday, I made my way up to the Wiwanni Hut at 2,470 metres. As the hut isn’t open yet, it was pretty quiet. I only came across a few marmots and a curious female ibex.
