Had a lovely hike up the Wildspitz and down to Sattel today. I spent two hours at the Berggasthaus up top enjoying the views (and coffee and soup and plum pie with whipped cream and hot tea). I made this trip almost 90 minutes faster than 8 weeks ago, partly because there was very little snow on the ascent, and partly because I was able to take a shorter, steeper descent now that the snows have melted (but I like to pretend it’s also because I’m in slightly better shape).
