🤦 WHOOPS: Gran Carismo appeared on PS5 and PS4 under a new title, Grand Car Racing, at launch.

Why? Sony's legal team flagged the obvious similarity to Gran Turismo, so the publisher rushed a rename and updated the store listing. The funny glitch: the storefront title is changed, but promo art and screenshots still carry the old name.

I remember my company sending emails to test [dot] com addresses with PII from the "development" environment, which was really just a stale copy of production. We did payment processing for medical facilities and doctor's offices lol.

I brought it up the chain and they decided it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't fix it.

I just bought a flat bed scanner. I've been dealing with a mini sheet-fed one now for a few years. It came with me to Linux with ZERO fuss.

It's great, but only when the paper is perfect and all the planets are aligned. So much frustration with things getting caught, etc.

I will miss unintentionally producing these comical images, though.
