I just bought a flat bed scanner. I've been dealing with a mini sheet-fed one now for a few years. It came with me to Linux with ZERO fuss.

It's great, but only when the paper is perfect and all the planets are aligned. So much frustration with things getting caught, etc.

I will miss unintentionally producing these comical images, though.

Bloody hell I just nearly accidentally called triple zero because my iPhone misheard me!!!

I have a home automation scene called “cool down the house” which , as its name suggests, turns on my A/Cs.

But for some unknown reason when I said “Hey Siri, cool down the house” my iPhone has turned that into “call emergency services” and started a 10 second countdown to doing just that 🤦🏻‍♂️

Has to be the worst voice recognition fuckup I’ve witnessed in I don’t know how long!
