It's so funny to me that #WhereWindsMeet has "body type 1 & 2" at the start of the character creation (to avoid saying man / woman) BUT then everything is very gendered.
Like some things are in common (eg. both can wear make up) but others aren't (facial hair are mostly locked for "body type 1").
And then your voice and pronouns are fully dependent on the body type you chose, which kinda defeats the purpose...
For instance in some games (eg. Dragon Age 3) I can choose a "female body type" and then add stubble, an Adam's apple, a low voice, they/them pronouns or tune it however I want.
Here to have "oh we're gender neutral this is not a man, it's body type 1" but then if you choose it you'll have a low voice and people will call you "he" kind of makes me wonder why they didn't straight up say male/female character.
I don't mind it too much (other than the fact that I for sure wish there would be more non-genfered customization options) but it's just a bit confusing 🤔
