Question for @Waterfox users... What is the 'waterfox-g' binary? This binary is being installed on my distribution alongside the standard waterfox binary... Is this the gecko based version, aka Waterfox Classic? I'm just curious.

Ladybird is a browser project in pre-alpha development that uses a brand new rendering engine not the chromium engine or firefox engine

I think this will be interesting to you if you saw that firefox is adding AI features into firefox and threatened to remove manifest v2 in order to bring in more revenue (something that chrome removed which disabled a lot of ad blockers) [1]
Librewolf also exists and I've heard from several people its a very good replacement for firefox but it still relies on mozilla existing to maintain the costly web engine
edit: looks like the head dev of ladybird touts white replacement and had a tantrum about someone replacing the word "he" with gender neutral pronouns somewhere in the project [2]
pick your poison maybe we should just simplify web standards to perhaps make them easy to maintain again, maybe we should revert to a much older version of html, maybe Gemini (the protocol not the large lying machine) is the answer [3] lets make website crafting fun again
