@breitensteinart I don't know of a specific word in English for the sort of deeply worn path shown in the photograph, but I was instantly reminded of a book by the marvellous Robert Macfarlane, on such a path. He titles the book "The Old Ways". Perhaps 'way' is the word I'm looking for, as in 'wayfaring'.
