The #WhiteStar #OceanLiner #SSAtlantic struck rocks off the coast of #NovaScotia on #ThisDayInHistory in 1873 and sank. 547 lives were lost, making it the worst White Star disaster until the Titanic loss in 1912. It remains one of the worst shipwrecks on the North Atlantic route.

On #ThisDayInHistory in 1934, #RMSQueenMary was launched in Scotland. Construction had begun in 1930 but was halted due to the #GreatDepression. The British gov. loaned the needed funds on condition that #Cunard merge with #WhiteStar. #QueenMary is now a hotel in #LongBeach, CA.

I finished the boarding tube and landing gear seen in WWE, and added a couple of foot-ramps. The ramps are designed so that they can lower in either direction, forward or aft, and they operate independently.

I added some bronze and silver accents to various tech details to break up the coloration subtly, as well as scorched metal effects to the cannons.
