Hey #WAState folks- there's a bill in the state senate this session that proposes switching to permanent standard time, and stops the silly clock switches for DST. There is a new bill in the WA state leg after pro-Palestinian protesters shut down I-5. The "failure to disperse" is currently a misdemeanor, this bill would make it a Class C Felony.
Posting this for visibility - this bill was explicitly stated as a response to the I-5 shut down, which is a sign that it actually worked. Protesters *should* be able to cause public disturbances when their gov is complicit & actively participating in genocide.
