@bytex64 @foone @burnitdown To be more precise: #VisualFoxPro is #microsoft 's Embrace-Extend-Extinguish version of dBase, created by buying the company behind the dBase clone FoxBase and developing a Windows version. Goals: Collect all professional dBase users (die-hard DOS users), make them use Windows, then drive them into the similar but more modern in-house product Access, extinguish dBase from existence.
