#Serhii_Doroshenko, a pediatrician from #Mariupol, went to a military enlistment office on February 25, 2022.
#Tetiana survived 86 days of #Russian shelling in a basement with three small kids, living on buckwheat soaked in rainwater.
After the #Russian occupation of #Mariupol, the only way out led through #Russia. #Tetiana and her children passed through filtration camps, then fled to #Europe, before returning to #Ukraine in search of #Serhii.
The doctors fought for #Tetiana's life but she died in the hospital from her injuries.
She wanted to name her baby boy #Nazar. So her family honored #Tetiana's wish.
#Nazar has now been discharged from the hospital. His aunt, #Oksana, who will care for him, will take him to live in #Ivano_Frankivsk.
His dad, #Vadym, is still recovering from the attack.

On September 7, during a #Russian attack on #Kyiv, #Tetiana suffered burns over 95% of her body.
#Tetiana was in the seventh month of her pregnancy. The doctors had to perform an emergency C-section to save her baby. He survived but experienced numerous complications related to the nature of his injuries: his blood did not clot, he had inflammatory processes, and infections. Over the course of almost three months, the baby underwent four surgeries.
"He (#Vitalii) was screaming on one side, she (#Hanna) was in the middle, shouting, 'My child is there!' We started looking for the boy. And then I realized he was gone, because #Hanna was screaming in a way I’ll never forget. The roof collapsed on the kid instantly... #Vitalii was still sitting over the boy, over his son, crying and crying... It was unbearable to witness... I can’t even think about it," their neighbour, #Tetiana, shared.

#Tetiana and #Vasyl_Hrushko from #Kamianka near #Izium, #Kharkiv region, lost their limbs due to landmine explosions. #Vasyl was injured by a mine in 2022, and #Tetiana lost her limb in the summer of 2023.
Every fifth resident of #Kamianka has traumatic amputations. This village is one of the most heavily mined settlements in the region.
