Civic duty done, bring on the redistricting in Virginia.
*Hate* that we have to do this, but it's ages past time to fight fire with fire.

Well, no redistricting for Virginia - seems we failed to navigate the maze for doing these things exactly right.
Guess we'll just have to blow the Republicans out of the water the old fashioned way.

A Virginia judge has ruled that a proposed constitutional amendment letting Democrats redraw the state’s Congressional maps was illegal. The decision deals a setback to the party’s efforts to pick up seats in the U.S. House in November. Tazewell Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley Jr. struck down the legislature’s actions on three grounds, including finding that lawmakers failed to follow their own rules for adding the redistricting amendment to a special session. Virginia House Speaker Don Scott said Democrats would appeal the ruling. Meanwhile in Maryland, Gov. Wes Moore testified for a new map that could enable Democrats to defeat the state’s only House Republican.

I need this Virginia election cycle to be done. (Yes, I will be voting a straight D ticket.)
But if I have to deal with another Spanberger ad banging on about her law enforcement background, I'm going to throw something at the TV.
In any other sane universe, she is a Republican. I'm still pissed we didn't even have a primary.
