does anyone have any idea how to get the fuzzy matching abilities of XSPF files to work in any Linux media player?
I've tried #VLC, #Clementine and #Audacious but none seem to be able to, unless im missing something. presumably the player has to be able to index your media library first, but this hasn't seemed to help. They all give up if the <location> tag doesn't match.

How do you zoom into a video in #VLC and then move the view section?

All I found is that it basically appears to only have two modes:
1) Resizing the Window to match the bigger video
2) To just zoom into the center and not let you move to a now off-screen section of the video.

Also is there a move forward/backward frame-by-frame option? Slowing down to 0.35 was ok-isch for now, however frame-by-frame would be more ideal when you try to make a picture of one that isn't blurry.
