Good morning's #birding at local #uptonwarren nature reserve.

Highlight 1st Brambling of this season.

Also, 100+ Redwing and Fieldfare across the reserve, 7 Curlew, 4 Snipe, Shelduck, Pochard, 40+ Shoveler, 50+ Teal, 200+ Lapwing, c20 Cormorant, 80+ Greylag Geese through, Buzzard, Kestrel, flocks of Linnet and Chaffinch, Herring and Lesser Black-backed Gulls in various plumage cycles.

Good morning's #birding around Moors Pool at local #uptonwarren reserve.

Fortunate to have Curlews, an endangered red list wader, as regular visitors, 6 today (photo of 3).

List includes:
Female Ruddy Shelduck
Water Rail
3 Cetti's warbler
4 Fieldfare
Mixed flock of 50+ Linnets and Chaffinches,
Shelduck, good quantities of Shoveler, Gadwall and Teal
50+ Coot.
3 Little Grebe
40+ Lapwing
Grey Heron (photo)
4 Reed Bunting (photo)
8 Mute Swan (photo)
20+ Cormorant
40+ Greylag Goose
