A different but very enjoyable day out with two of the many birding Daves from Exeter. Highlights were a beautiful Brambling, 3 Yellowhammer and many Siskin (all in the video) along with prolonged views of a Marsh Harrier and a White-fronted Goose (Euro. / Russian) on Exminster Marshes. #UKBirding #Birds #Wildlife #Nature #Devon

We're very pleased with the siskins & esp #REDPOLLS. They're not rare here but they're not common either so it's a joy to see 2 pairs visiting the feeders every day!

After two hours of searching with Dave B this North American Gull was spotted 10 minute walk away by another David (Bradford) -- Much gratitude!!!

An atmospheric, misty trip out on Kellys' Hero this morning around #LymeBay with some fabulous company. Highlights: Peregrine, Common Scoter, Gannet, Fulmar, Raven, Guillemot and Razorbill as well as Common Short-beaked Dolphin and Atlantic Grey Seal.

I was too cold to look for Crossbill with Dave B so I stayed in the car, in the car park. No sooner had he disappeared around the corner when this male #Sparrowhawk flew in and perched up right beside me. Sometimes you're lucky!!!
There were no Crossbill for Dave B. Sometimes you're unlucky.
