"Growth continues of NZ disinformation pages on FB, up to 1.3 million likes on the latest count, according to the Disinformation Project. It's research shows that the most prolific accounts generated over 1 1/2 times more engagement per post, than content published by mainstream journalism.

That's despite established media outlets in NZ having a greater following, by some magnitude, than disinformation accounts."
