my wife has very recently decided that maybe being outdoorsy wouldn’t be a bad thing. we bought her some comfy hiking boots and some moisture-wicking clothes (she is enjoying the fashions a lot actually), and we went on a 5k #hike through #umsteadStatePark #raleigh #nc. and she actually had a great time!

we took it slow, especially before, during, and after the parts with elevation changes, and made it back safe, sound, and happy. and she’s even willing to go out again soon!
