Is it normal that the USB stick I've bought and is USB 3 has only 10-20 MB/s sequential read?

Edit: I read one byte at a time, does it make a difference?

Edit2: nvm. Of course reading 1B at a time is slow...

This might be obvious but it just confused me!

With Windows 10 or 11 if you assign drive letters to USB storage devices then Windows will remember them got future reference.

If you give two different devices the same drive letter then the OS will get very confused and you will only see one of the identical drive letter devices.

No warnings or message indicating the duplicated drive letters! 😖😕
