PatrickPaid my respects at Clifford’s Tower in York. In 1190, on this site, the Jews of York were massacred by their Christian neighbors. At least 150 Jews were killed within the tower or as they tried to leave. The original tower was burned in the massacre, and rebuilt in 1193. #York #YorkUK #JewishHistory #UKJews #Jewish #Judaism
