My grandfather served in #WWI (#WorldWar) in #Verdun and survived.
These horrible pictures look very similar to what he told me about the war in France.
Let's hope, that the war will be over as soon as possible. That the russian agression will be stopped and that senseless dieing of young people at the front line and the hardship of all the others in the hinterland will end.
