As the grubs that eat the storks of green beans and brassicas live in the top inch of soil I get a relative to save plastic bottles, cut them in half, part fill the bottom with soil, invert the top and push it in. plant the seed just above the neck and cover with soil.
I'll put these on a windowsill until it is safe to plant out, remove the bottom and put the top in deep enough to shield the plant from grubs. The top also helps protect the young plant from wind.

I try to be on here more and on there less, but a lot of the people I follow for Ukraine news aren't on here.

From @ourshallowstate on Bird (formerly Duty to Warn)

"For clarity: Trump is a grifter, gangster and fraud. Flynn's a traitor. So is Meadows. JFK Jr is dead. Fox is NOT news. McConnell's an obstructionist, Bannon a destructionist. Carlson's a cancer, Putin a plague. CPAC's a Cult, Ginni is nuts, Pence is a putz. DeJoy deserves deJail."

Truth!!

I'll be planting seeds inside soon for planting out later in the year. Before I bring the outside compost in the house I put it in trays on the lawn for a couple of days to let the birds remove all the little creatures for me. I helps them at a time when food is scarce and means I don't get things crawling around the house. Any worms and snails I see get put in their respective compost bins.

In the small village of Nashtifan, Iran, some of the oldest windmills in the world still spin. Made of natural clay, straw, and wood, the windmills have been milling grain for flour for an estimated 1,000 years. @graham__hancock #history #windmill
An FB page I manage has been inundated with AI generated accounts, if Douglas Adams were alive today he'd be having a laugh at the names. These are just a few - Unholy Smithkw0a, Cuddle Magnusah9w, Silentkiller Helendflj, Alice Ironthronesyokj.
You've missed an important option. If the party you usually vote for happens to also be tactically best then you can vote for them without being loyal or tactical. I would think a lot of voters come into that category.
In the UK every household gets a form every year to register those eligible to vote, you only need to add any changes. It means more people are registered and plenty of time to check all are eligible.
There's hardly any queues but then we don't elect nearly so many officials and each different election is on a different ballot so it makes counting easier.
You're probably the only country in the world that asks people's intended vote when they register. That is wrong on so many levels.
