@stman personally I do like #TransparentElectronics as they do make it easy to detect #tampering with the hardware.

Which is a shame because even if one doesn't need to build #Laptops and stuff for paranoid #US #Prison|s' inmates, there's no valid reason to not offer products like that to the general public:

  • Espechally since one can use #plastics that ain't "food-grade"-certifyable anymore and even if one wants crystal-clear plastics there are sheets and resins for that. Not to mention one could still matt-sand/acid-etch the surface for a satinized finish.

Also lets be honest: #TransparentTech just looks awesome!

Trying to calm my ass down (still) by tidying my belongings. Was checking if this obscure PS1/2 controller adaptor works. It does! but in a weird way!

Wow, Analogue has done one of the nicest lower-scale industrial design jobs I've seen in a long while.

(This is an SNES console designed to 100% replicate SNES hardware through an FGPA)

They also know how to respect transparent plastic by giving all the interiors a black circuit board.

Motorola V70 (2002). A classic. I think if I were to go back to feature phones, this one would be pretty high on my list of ones to get.
