Trans+ Pride London 2025
An estimated 100,000 people joined the Trans+ Pride event yesterday in London as they marched from near BBC Broadcasting House, past Downing Street, and on to Westminster Palace to Parliament Square Gardens. It was spectacular & emotional to watch.

"don't forget to remember" is a snapshot of my internal world, navigating the world as a neurodivergent, chronically ill and disabled, queer trans person. The piece aims to convey the chaos and claustrophobia of a mind overwhelmed with the never-ending stream of stimuli, both external and internal. The painting was born to help me process my anxieties around starting ADHD medication, having to sit with the fear of not knowing how the pills would affect me, my energy levels, and my creativity. The work explores the struggle of trying to survive and the reluctance to hope that things can be made easier with medication, without the side effects crushing my body - the push and pull of needing to conform to capitalist society to survive, but knowing it will come at a cost. The piece is a 'cry for help', a visual manifestation of the suffocating tension of my internal world, the rage, fear, frustration, confusion, devastation, and hope.
