Tonight, just the day after TDoR, we gathered to mourn him, between trans persons and with his chosen grandmother and a few friends. She explained us how she fought for him, during nearly 4 years, against a social system, in Belgium, that refused to listen to a trans kid who was seeking help. A social system that was just listening to a father who considered his son to be a burden and didn’t want to provide anything to him. He sought help multiple times, in different ways, together with the support of his chosen grandmother, but each time has been let down. Until the day he took his own life away. He was not even 14yo.
