To continue my series on "tortoise beetles are really cool actually", which is definitely a well established entomological fact and not at all because I think they just look really neat, I found one in my garden at last!

This is, I think, a Thistle Tortoise Beetle (Cassida rubiginosa), potentially cassida viridis although I think the markings on the shell rule that out.
