I’m running a marathon tomorrow 😳

My second one. I’m some ways, I’m less nervous than I was last year for my first one, but I also know the terrors that await me especially in the last 6-7km.

Training this year took a lot out of me. I ran more than 1100km preparing for this. There were physical and emotional highs and lows.

Whatever happens tomorrow morning. I’m thankful I was able to make it and proud of what I have achieved.

My birthday yesterday so I convinced family to do a long bike ride from our midtown home down to the #TorontoWaterfront. Our final designation was the #EastBayfront neighbourhood, which I hadn’t visited since it was a mess of concrete and saplings.

It’s really coming together! Beautiful little parks compactly fit in between mid rise but still human scale condos.

it was like visiting another city! We even tried exotic local food (Gong Cha chocolate waffles)

Spent some time in the beautiful new #LovePark in #toronto, previously an off-ramp for the Gardiner Expressway.
