Here's a concerning development for #BikeTO & #WalkTO folks. Proposed insurance changes that will take effect on July 1 could leave those outside motor vehicles with even less coverage when involved in a crash. #ONpoli #TOpoli CC @[email protected] www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/pe...

Earlier today, Adam Rodgers gave an excellent deputation to IEC (2 hrs 5 min in) which captured the frustration of the #BikeTO community over the lost opportunity to make Eglinton safe. @[email protected] was also frustrated about the matter. #TOpoli #VisionZero www.youtube.com/live/NFmf8lP...

There’s something I do not understand about #toronto drivers - they act like they hate driving, their life is complaining about traffic, having to drive, having to find parking, and if you *dare* to suggest an alternative mean of transportation, say, transit or cycling, then they hate you for that.

I choose my bike and I love it.

Having biked down Kingston Road and surviving should grant me some prize, really. Every #toronto “war on car” person should be forced to ride a bike on Kingston for a week and see if there’s a real war on car. If they’re still alive after a week they’re probably a changed person.

Anyway, in Liberty Village drivers STOP for my bike. THEY STOP! Like I exist! I know! Miracle!

As usual, @[email protected] nails it by arguing we shouldn't need the FIFA World Cup to fix this city! This is especially true for bike lanes given the only time we hit the approx 30 km annual target was during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. #BikeTO #TOpoli #VisionZero www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...

Toronto gets 28 million visitors a year. Let’s act like there is a World Cup every year, minus the headaches.

Last month, I finished reading @[email protected]'s "If You Want to Win, You've Got to Fight" which is a short but effective advocacy manual for walking, cycling & transit supporters. A full review is now up on my blog. #BikeTO #BikeSky #WalkTO #TTC www.twowheeledpolitics.ca/2026/06/revi...
